Our Mission
St Bartholomew’s Children’s Centre is dedicated to the emotional growth of school-aged children who live in Toronto’s downtown community of Regent Park. Children who may not fit into other programs have a place where they feel they belong at the Children’s Centre. The Children’s Centre addresses the individual and physical needs of children by providing programs before-; after-; and out-of-school. The Children's Centre is a safe place for the children of Regent Park to learn; play; and grow.
Our Programming
Serving four school boards in the Toronto area, our RECE staff are trained to deliver programs in both French and English. The Children's Centre as a licensed childcare provider reduces barriers to participation in their safe and supporting programs by City of Toronto assessed subsidies. Providing consistent childcare for 50 weeks throughout the year, including: full day programming, PA days, Winter Break, March Break and summer holidays.
