St. Joan of Arc Parish is over 100 years old but is ever new.  We have a vibrant community that is welcoming and faithful. Visitors often comment how welcome they feel! We serve this community with warmth and welcome.  We are a Stewardship parish which means we ask each member to get involved in some part of the parish as they are able. It is this commitment that is what people encounter when they come to St. Joan of Arc. 

 The pastoral team is comprised of Franciscan Friars of the Atonement who have a ministry of reconciliation and Franciscan joy.  In fact our founding scripture passage comes from the 1898 translation of St. Paul’s letter to the Romans (5:9-11) “We joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ through whom we have now received the Atonement”. The word Atonement is broken down into At-One-ment meaning we seek unity in all things as St. Francis states “We have been called to heal wounds, to unite what has fallen apart, and to bring home those who have lost their way.”

 Our parish mission is “Living and Proclaiming the Gospel through Stewardship, All are welcome.” Our parishioners recognize they are simply the stewards of God’s gifts that are given for the good of others. This means sharing of time, talent and treasure to build up the Kingdom of God!  And we welcome everyone just as they are – a child of God, that together we can experience the joy of being loved by God in a loving community.
