St. Matthew's Cathedral is both a parish church located in Timmins, Ontario on the corner of Fifth Ave and Hemlock St. and a cathedral (the church where the Bishop's chair is located). The parish was founded in 1913 and continues to be blessed with a congregation dedicated to the worship of God, the nurturing of our church family and providing out reach to the broader community. Guided by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to respond to this call in love and service and so more fully live the life of Christ.
