About ST MICHAEL'S EXTENDED CARE CENTRE SOCIETY

St. Michael's Extended Care Centre Society provides long-term, palliative nursing care, supportive housing and independent housing for seniors.

We offer care for the whole person: mentally, physically, spiritually and culturally. These components are interwoven throughout our facilities and govern the way our care and services are provided.

St. Michael's Extended Care Centre Society consists of:

* St. Michael's Long Term Care Centre (153 Residents live in private or semi-private rooms at our site located in northeast Edmonton)

* Millennium Pavilion Seniors' Lodge (a 75-bed seniors' lodge)

* Vegreville Manor (a 55-bed supportive housing facility in Vegreville, AB)

* Fenwyck Heights (a 170-unit independent living community with support services)

* Safe accommodations -

In Edmonton, our apartments are rent-geared-to-income and offer independent living to seniors. These subsidized apartments each contain independent cooking and bathroom facilities.

In Spruce Grove, our apartments are moderately priced, spacious rental units, ideal for the independent resident.

* An Adult Day Support Program (providing a recreational, socialization and rehabilitative day program to seniors and mentally challenged adults)

St. Michael's also operates a public, Family Health Centre, Mobile X-Ray, and Heritage Hall where all proceeds generated from these community ventures helps fund quality of life programs and services for those that call St. Michael’s Long Term Care Facility their home.
