It's hard to believe how much has changed in just one short month. The COVID-19 Pandemic has challenged all of us, from what our daily lives look like, to how we work together. As an organization that cares for seniors, we see the impact this is having on residents and every day we work to find ways to ease the isolation for those who call St. Michael’s home, provide distraction, activities and comfort. This virus is challenging our ability to provide the care our seniors need, and yet Residents in our long term care centre and 3 supportive living sites need as much staff support as possible at this time when we cannot accept any visitors to our sites.  Our relief appeal will provide support for supplies to see us through the pandemic, help keep residents in touch with their loved ones using technology / devices, and address challenges for staffing.
