We offer 9-month faith formation programs, weekend conference-style courses, and week-long sessions, inspired by St. Therese's "Little Way"
St. Therese Institute of Faith and Mission is a post-secondary Catholic school providing adult faith formation in a common life of study, prayer, and fellowship, inspired by the life and teachings of St. Thérèse of Lisieux. Through the encounter with Jesus Christ, lay men and women are equipped to pursue holiness and become missionary disciples of Christ in the world.
"How much need there is today for mature Christian leaders, who are aware of their baptismal identity, of their own vocation and mission in the Church and in the world." Pope St. John Paul II
St. Therese seeks to respond to the call of the New Evangelization by providing spiritual formation for young adults and prepare them to be the light of Christ in the world. Students come from across Canada to spend 9-months at St. Therese Institute to learn about Catholic prayer and spirituality, the teachings of the Church, and how to incarnate the Gospel wherever they go. All of this is done through the intercession of St. Thérèse of Lisieux, who we look to as a model for a life of holiness, mission, and great love of God.
St. Therese Institute also provides a variety of programs that are open to the public and are attended by many across the country. These retreats, conference, and courses are key ways for individuals to grow in their faith, be inspired and encouraged, and to be better equipped to serve the mission of the Church.
