Our Mission: Stanley Park Ecology's Mission is education, conservation, and research rooted in Stanley Park. About Stanley Park Ecology: We support the wildlife that flies, hops, crawls, and flutters through Stanley Park by restoring habitat, conducting ecological monitoring, and advancing conservation action. We also provide science-based insights to help park managers make informed decisions that benefit biodiversity. But we don’t stop there. Each year, over 20,000 children and adults connect with nature through our school programs, weekly public events, hands-on stewardship, and visits to the Stanley Park Nature House on Lost Lagoon—Vancouver’s only ecology centre. Our thriving volunteer program engages more than 1,200 community members annually, offering new skills, resume-boosting experience, and a chance to connect with others who care about nature.
