A group of people were moved by the stories of crisis and needs in South Asian countries and they decided to make a positive impact by resourcing and supporting nationals to carry out developmental activities. To support the ongoing holistic efforts to relieve poverty, advance education and provide leadership training to nationals in South Asian countries (India, Bangladesh, Myanmar), STEP International Foundation (Canada) was registered as a Society (S-0065184) in British Columbia, Canada in 2016 and as a Charity (BN. 780290326RR0001) with Canadian Revenue Agency (CRA) in 2021. The vision is to serve the underprivileged children, under-resourced men and women of South Asia in a way that provides hope and healing. We are committed to impacting lives in the following ways during 2020-2025:
- Support 500 underprivileged children to receive formal Education in South Asia.
- Empower and train 200 national men and women with leadership training.
- Help initiate holistic developmental activities through national workers.
