Our campaign to bring more Syrian families to safety continues. As the fighting intensifies and the situation on the ground becomes more desperate, St. Gregory Armenian Church continues to receive more applications from families wishing to come to Vancouver from Syria.

St. Gregory Armenian Church in Richmond (BC) has currently sponsored 35 families, adding more than 100 men, women and children to the vibrant Armenian community in Vancouver. This sponsorship represents the largest number of sponsored families by a single organization - no where else in British Columbia has a single organization taken on the responsibility of such a large number of refugees.

Most of these families have arrived and settled close to their sponsoring families, finding support, warmth and security in their new neighbourhoods.
