Our Mission
To operate a sustainable Residential Hospice that is a centre of excellence providing compassionate, meaningful, end of life care for our community. In partnership with other community agencies, we enable a skilled interdisciplinary palliative care team to help ease emotional, physical, social and spiritual pain.
About Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth
We are all touched by death and grief at some point in our lives. The Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth is here to help during these difficult times.
Opened officially on June 22, 2019, Rotary Hospice provides a peaceful, comfortable home with 24-hour specialized palliative care for those living with a terminal illness as well as support for those in their life circle. Located on land behind Greenwood Court in Stratford and surrounded by the calming presence of nature, the facility features:
- Eight private rooms (10 built and furnished to accommodate future needs)
- Each private room furnished to accommodate overnight guests
- Peaceful outdoor courtyards for quiet reflection
- Open kitchen and dining area for families to gather
- Counselling and exam rooms
- Spa room and family shower facilities
- Family room for younger visitors
- And more…
Rotary Hospice will also house a Centre of Excellence for palliative care by linking together the palliative care expertise and support services that reach across Perth County. This will ensure the comfort of the patient and their family, whether the individual is in their home or the Hospice.
The patient, their families and those in their circle of care at the centre of all that we do.
