Stroke Recovery BC delivers free in-person and virtual programs on stroke recovery. We support over 2300 stroke survivors throughout BC.
Stroke Recovery BC delivers free in-person community and virtual programs to help stroke survivors on their road to recovery. Stroke recovery is a journey, and we work through the 7 steps of stroke recovery to help over 2300 stroke survivors across BC.
We also provide services, education and advocacy to those affected by stroke throughout every stage of recovery.
Just as no two people are the same, no stroke experiences look exactly alike. We are here to assist stroke survivors to find the help that’s right for them. We are here to support stroke survivors through their journey as they get back to living life in their community.
Stroke Recovery BC supports communities across BC with 16 in-person programs and 18 virtual programs, dedicated Program Instructors and Volunteer Leads, peer connections, and accessible stroke recovery resources! Discover connection, movement, and recovery support with other stroke survivors—wherever you are in BC. For each program, stroke survivors and caregivers benefit from programs like:

- - Exercise classes & physiotherapy-led activities
- - Caregiver connection groups for guidance and respite
- All across BC and virtually, our free programs offer education, social events, and ongoing support to hundreds of stroke survivors and their partners or caregivers.
