Sponsors a group of weekly volunteers to assist residents at a home for adults with disability (one month)

Our student volunteers interact and assist residents with a variety of tasks that they may need help with, including projects, computers, crafts, games, baking, movie days, going for walks in the area and spending time together individually and as a group. Currently, during the COVID19 pandemic, our volunteers are helping to prevent isolation by visiting virtually and doing activities with residents over phone or video.

We feel very fortunate to have these volunteers. They offer opportunities to our residents that we are not always able to do. The groups of students bring new life and ideas and positive energy and experiences that are truly appreciated. (Conway Opportunity Homes)
