We are a small Learning Through the Arts and Project Based learning school in Kelowna, BC, where artsy kids and those who learn creatively can find their voice in a safe, inclusive, and creative environment. Our values are Acceptance, Creativity, Inclusiveness, Respect, Community, Education, Passion, and Safety. Students and parents tell us Studio9 changed their lives, and that brings us joy because that is why this school exists. We are an academic art school, not solely here to develop new artists but, more importantly,y to help use the arts to create great people—so many great stories about students who come alive when they are taught in the right environment. Staff at Studio9 are student-focused rather than process-focused,s and the students can feel that. Creative students with anxiety/depression and high-functioning autism children have done well here because of the creative and family environment.
