Our Mission
The mission of the Summerland Community Arts Council is to promote and facilitate the awareness and appreciation of the arts in the Summerland area through education, action and advocacy.
About SUMMERLAND COMMUNITY ARTS COUNCIL
The Summerland Community Arts Council operates an Art Gallery and a Gift Shop at the Arts Centre located in the George Ryga Arts and Culture Centre at 9525 Wharton Street in Summerland.
In addition, the Arts Council holds various workshops and musical events throughout the year, coordinates the downtown street banner program, holds a Summer Art Program, and in November and December holds Light Up the Arts which features a wide range of art, from paintings to sculpture, for sale.
