Sunshine Coast SAR is a volunteer service organization built by success with the right people, training and equipment, at the right time!
Sunshine Coast Search and Rescue is a 100% volunteer organization with 35 members who donate their time to rescue lost or injured persons on the Sunshine Coast of BC. We have a fully qualified high-angle rope rescue team, swiftwater team, avalanche response team and SAR search dog. All donations are used to maintain the technical skills required and to purchase quality equipment for the safe and efficient location and rescue of our subjects.
