Our Mission
For over 45 years, the Surrey Christmas Bureau has worked to ensure that low-income families with children and youth living in the city of Surrey have access to nutritious food, warm clothing, household items and toys during the Christmas holiday season. In 2024 alone, we supported 1,913 families, including 4,943 children and 7,771 individuals, and distributed over $245,000 in grocery vouchers, the equivalent of more than 23,000 meals. These programs bring relief and joy to families across Surrey during what can be a difficult time of year.
About What We Do
The Surrey Christmas Bureau raises funds to provide an annual registration and distribution process for proven low-income families to receive grocery gift cards, toys, clothing and household items, creating inclusion in community celebration and sharing.
However, we do not focus our charity solely around Christmas time. We have a strong community presence throughout the year and work to engage our volunteers and the entire community of Surrey, BC.
