Our dream is to make the Centre free to visit for every school in Cape Breton. But the reality is, we can’t do it alone.
Currently, we operate our school tours at a loss. We keep our rates well below market value at just $3 per child, yet even this modest fee stands in the way for some schools and children.
Thanks to the generous support of GFL Environmental, we can offer free admission to 500 kids. With your support, we can can eliminate admission fees to the Centre for school groups entirely this year. Every $3 you donate covers the full admission cost for one child.
Every single dollar raised through this campaign goes directly toward funding kids' access to the Centre. Any funds not used this summer will carry over to welcome more students in the fall and next summer. 100% of the proceeds of your donation goes directly to the kids.
