About Tails of Help
Who Are We?
Tails of Help is a volunteer-driven registered charity focused on helping Albertans in need. Approved by the Alberta Veterinary Medical Association, we provide funding aid for essential veterinary care for ill or injured pets of qualifying owners who are experiencing financial hardship. Our goal is to help keep pets healthy and with their loving families.
Who Do We Help?
We help seniors, disabled, or low income pet owners who own ill or injured pets that need essential veterinary treatment. We can help fund care for companion animals of all kinds, from dogs and cats to birds and ferrets.
How Does It Work?
Applications for funding are made on behalf of eligible pet owners by participating Alberta veterinary clinics. If you are an Alberta resident and eligible pet owner, then please contact your regular veterinarian for details.
How Can I help?
Please donate — Charitable tax receipts are issued for donations of $15 or more.
