Telling Tales is a Canadian, charitable organization committed to inspiring a love of reading and raising awareness of the importance of literacy in our communities. We do this by bringing Canadian authors, illustrators, musicians and storytellers together with their audiences: our children.
Beginning with our annual Telling Tales Festival, we are building a community of readers, writers and storytellers who represent Canada’s diverse communities including French and Indigenous authors, artists, musicians and poets.
Offering year round activities throughout our communities, Telling Tales is committed to inspiring a love of literacy, in all its forms, in even the most reluctant of young readers.
