When Jules and I first had the idea for the Ten Oaks Project, we wanted to create a magical space for the kids of LGBTQ+ families to learn, play, grow, and build community. Fourteen years later, Jules is gone but her legacy is incredible: the Ten Oaks Project has launched three camp programs, welcomed 1215 campers, employed 12 staff members, been guided by 980 volunteers, and fostered countless lifelong friendships. 

Before she died last April, Jules set up the Wagg Legacy Fund, which is dedicated to sustaining the roots of the Ten Oaks Project and supporting its program growth. All donations to this fund support direct operational costs of Camp Ten Oaks and Oak Grove Family Camp. In 2017, 170 donors helped raise $25,852 in gifts and this made it possible for the Ten Oaks Project to welcome 100 kids to Camp Ten Oaks and launch Oak Grove Family Camp.

As the organization grows, we want to build the Wagg Legacy Fund up. This year, we're looking for 30 new monthly donors so that we can cover the cost of sending one kid to camp each month.
