A2A Collaborative

Registered Name: Algonquin to Adirondacks Collaborative (A2A) La Collective d'Algonquin à Adirond

Business Number: 863071668RR0001

The Algonquin to Adirondacks (A2A) Collaborative is working on the ground to maintain and enhance connected habitat for the wide diversity of species that live in the great biological corridor extending between Algonquin Park in Ontario and Adirondack Park in New York.  This bi-national region is recognized scientifically as having immense potential to help species survive and thrive in this time of global climate change.

Being able to move ahead with our work during the time of the Covid-19 pandemic is key to maintaining our progress in:

  • Reducing the slaughter of animals on major highways in the region,
  • Educating the public about the role they can play in their own lives to help maintain healthy populations of wildlife,
  • Creating the “Pilgrimage for Nature”: the A2A Trail that will provide people with opportunities to hike or bike near the path of Alice the Moose, and provide them with the information they need to advocate for nature,
  • Supporting the science and traditional indigenous knowledge that tell us the best ways to live in harmony with nature,
  • And working with decision makers so that they have the information they need to protect our natural heritage so that our children and grandchildren will have clean water, clean air and the native plants and animals that enrich our lives every day.

Please consider a generous contribution to help the A2A Collaborative continue its work in a time when holding fundraising events is not possible. We, as always, use the funds we receive efficiently.

The A2A Collaborative is a charitable, non-profit conservation organization registered with the Canada Revenue Agency.
