The Algonquin to Adirondacks (A2A) Collaborative is working on the ground to maintain and enhance connected habitat for the wide diversity of species that live in the great biological corridor extending between Algonquin Park in Ontario and Adirondack Park in New York. This bi-national region is recognized scientifically as having immense potential to help species survive and thrive in this time of global climate change.

Through our work with scientists, policy-makers, and a variety of conservation organizations, we work to conserve and enhance this critical corridor for ecological integrity and resilience in eastern North America. 

Your gift helps us to:

• - Generate public support for our Road Ecology Report, The Right to Roam, so that we can work with the Province of Ontario to build structures that help animals cross the 401 safely;

• - Support partners on important conservation projects like the Frontenac Arch Conservation Plan to address the increasing problem of invasive species; 

• - Get more people out on the A2A Pilgrimage for Nature so they, like you, will stand up for Nature. As we say, “You only protect what you love, and you can only love what you know.” 

• - Continue to put on partner events such as our bi-annual Science Symposium, creating a crucial convening space for knowledge dissemination; and

• - Working with decision makers so that they have the information they need to protect our natural heritage so that our children and grandchildren will have clean water, clean air and the native plants and animals that enrich our lives every day.
