Most of our animals rely on quality hay throughout the year, due to the local drought. We use round bales of alfalfa / mixed grasses which are between 1500 and 1800 pounds. We try to buy hay locally; due to the drought in our area we have had to source some from further away. The drought has caused hay to be more expensive and harder to source. We use hay for our horses, cows, sheep and goats.
We go through over 5 bales a week!
