The mission of The Army Cadet League of Canada (the “National League”) is to provide essential support to the Royal Canadian Army Cadet Program in partnership with the Canadian Armed Forces.
The National League is the national governing body of a vast network of affiliated provincial/territorial and local-level civilian organizations and their volunteers which together provide support to the Royal Canadian Army Cadet Program in partnership with the Canadian Armed Forces. As the national governing body, the National League provides oversight, training, and centralised resources to its network of civilian volunteers to enable them to support Army Cadet activities. The Royal Canadian Army Cadet program is open to all youth aged 12-18. The Canadian Armed Forces are responsible for the control and supervision of cadets, while the National League and its network of organizations and volunteers support the cadet program by providing additional resources needed to promote the program and carry out its activities.
