Our Mission

To offer a child-centered program where each child’s self esteem is fostered by positive relationships between staff, children and families. Developmentally appropriate opportunities to learn in a play-based environment based on children’s needs and interests. As a rewarding place to work, staff are consistent in providing a warm and inviting environment to provide a program that is joyful, respectful and empowering to the children in our community.

About THE BEAVERLODGE DAY CARE SOCIETY

Our program is dedicated to respecting and responding to the individual needs of the child. The environment and adults will provide children with a variety of opportunities to learn through their play and interactions. Each child grows and develops at different rates and styles of learning; therefore, our program is based on the observed needs, cultural differences and uniqueness of each child with the support of parents and community. Our program recognizes that families and parents are the primary caregivers in each child’s life and is committed to respecting the values and opinions of parents, while ensuring the child’s emotional, physical, social, creative and intellectual developmental needs are met.
