About THE BISHOP STRACHAN SCHOOL

Canada's oldest boarding and day school for young women, The Bishop Strachan School was founded in 1867 and named to honour Toronto's first Anglican Bishop. The Bishop Strachan School in Toronto, Ontario is a university preparatory school enrolling girls in Junior Kindergarten through Grade 12.

The Bishop Strachan School Foundation is the portal for all charitable donations made in support of BSS.
The Foundation portfolio encompasses endowed and other managed funds. It also receives Annual Fund contributions that address the school's current funding priorities. Donations made to the Foundation touch every facet of the work and mission of BSS. They support financial assistance and scholarships, academic and program enrichment, professional development for faculty and staff, capital priorities and developments, and special projects or needs identified by the Head of School.
