To provide services of discharge planning, transitional housing, and rehabilitative programs for victims, ex-offenders and families, by promotion and enabling healing and reconciliation for those in our community affected by crime.
About THE BRIDGE (HAMILTON) - From Prison to Community
The Bridge and its programs grew out of a church community’s desire to provide greater follow-up after incarceration to help ex-offenders adjust to reintegration in the community.
The Bridge Hamilton provides reintegration services to men exiting incarceration. Reintegration services play a crucial role in helping individuals transition from incarceration back into society. By focusing on the strengths and needs of clients, these services aim to lower recidivism rates and offer support tailored to the unique circumstances of each individual. Recognizing and leveraging client strengths is an essential aspect of reintegration services. This approach not only empowers clients but also builds their confidence as they navigate their lives back in the community.
