The BC Wildlife Park connects people to British Columbia's wildlife and wild places, in order to encourage a sustainable society within a healthy, natural environment.
The appreciation of, and respect for wildlife comes from every individual. It is our goal to have each visitor leave the BC Wildlife Park with knowledge on how they can assist in the preservation and conservation of wildlife and wild spaces.
The BC Wildlife Park is also home to the only full service wildlife rehabilitation centre in the Southern Interior. Our health centre receives 300-500 animals annually, and it is always our goal to release the animals back into the wild.
Additionally, the BC Wildlife Park, in partnership with the Burrowing Owl Conservation Society, has been working towards saving the burrowing owls from extirpation in British Columbia since 1992. This program has become the largest, and most successful, burrowing owl breeding program in the world.
