An initiative of the Cerebral Palsy Association, Calgary Between Friends is collaborating with the Re-Entry Strategy for Persons with Disabilities Task Force. The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has caused numerous challenges and concerns for persons with disabilities (PWD) and the people who support them. There are no guidelines that is shaping re-entry for our sector, and as a result this Task Force was created to address the gaps. Policy reform is needed to see a reduction in barriers and to ensure that the needs of PWD and the people who support them are being met. The Re-Entry Strategy for Persons with Disabilities Task Force will collaborate with families, guardians, caregivers, self advocates, community organizations and government to help facilitate policy reform to ensure a safe re-entry guideline is available for the sector.
To accomplish this objective, the Re-Entry Strategy for Persons with Disabilities Task Force is looking to recruit a part-time Administrative support for a 5-month contract position.
