THE CANADIAN CLOCK MUSEUM

about

The Canadian Clock Museum - Canada's only clock museum, and the only museum in the world telling the surprising Canadian clocks story - started its 27th year in January 2026.

A non-profit Canadian company, this unique museum opened to the public in May 2000 to showcase and research Canadian clocks from the early 1800s to the present time.  Since then more than 17,000 visitors have toured the clocks-filled exhibits.  The collection now holds four thousand clocks.

Also highlighted are many period artifacts - including working old record players - that place the various clocks in historical context.

And countless people have taken the Virtual Tour on our web site (www.canclockmuseum.ca).  Many have sent e-mail requests for information about inherited and found clocks through the museum's web site.

Allan Symons, the museum's founder, Manager, and Curator, has now published twelve articles about Canadian clock companies and special clocks in the Pennsylvania-based NAWCC Bulletin for watch and clock collectors around the world.  More are currently in draft form.

Donations are gratefully accepted to help pay for new acquisitions, and tax receipts are issued annually.
