The Canadian College of Performing Arts' Student Food Bank is located in the Student Kitchen at CCPA.

With the high cost of living in Victoria, many students are without funds to eat a well-rounded, nutrient-rich diet while attending school full time. Generous donors and corporate partners help the Canadian Heritage Arts Society offer tuition subsidies, bursaries, and scholarships, yet still some students struggle to maintain regular access to food essentials.

This has led us to create a food bank program to ensure that our students are eating properly while they endure the rigors of this intense training program. All services are confidential and all students are welcome to use this service throughout the school year.   

We receive donations of non-perishables and with your help, we can purchase gift cards for local grocery stores so our students can get access to fresh produce for making complete meals that will keep them healthy and strong during their year of studies.

We aim to raise $1,500 annually to support this initiative.
