The Canadian Council of Churches responds to Christ's call for unity and peace, seeks Christ's truth with an affection for diversity, and acts in love through prayer, dialogue and witness to the gospel.
The Canadian Council of Churches is a broadest and inclusive ecumenical body in Canada, now representing 26 denominations of Anglican; Evangelical; Free Church; Eastern Orthodox and Oriental Orthodox; Protestant; and Catholic traditions. Together the membership includes more than 85% of the Christians in Canada. The Canadian Council of Churches was founded in 1944.
