CDBA will provide each Individual with Intervenors who mediate between the Individual and their environment.
The focus of the Intervenors is to “Do With, Not For.” This entails supporting the Individual to do as much for themselves as possible and to encourage learning and growth on a daily basis. It is strongly felt that the Individual with Deafblindness should not be denied pleasures simply because of their disability.
