About The Charles H. Best Diabetes Centre
The Charles H. Best Diabetes Centre offers unique programs specifically designed to help children, youth & adults with Type 1 Diabetes through ongoing support & education.
Operating since 1989 the Best Centre currently serves over 1500 families in the Durham Region.
Staff are available 24 hours a day 7 days a week for new patients, crisis intervention & hospitalization prevention.
Programs such as in-home consultations, school & community group education, support groups, insulin pump therapy are only a few of the vital services offered.
