The Children’s Foundation of Guelph and Wellington is a local organization that believes in a community where every child and youth has the opportunity to participate, learn, and grow to build a brighter future. Together with our donors, volunteers and community partners we find opportunities in the hard times so that we can help each child grow, explore and unleash their great potential. We invest in children today through food security, access to recreation and life-skill activities, mental health and educational support, and holiday assistance.
Our Areas of Focus:
Food Security: Through our Keep Kids Fed program and our Adopt-A-Family program we are proud to offer year-round food support.
Access to Recreation and Life-Skill Activities: Our Free to Grow program nurtures the physical, social, emotional, and mental well-being of children and youth by funding recreational and life-skill development opportunities.
Mental Health and Educational Support: Our pilot projects through Free to Grow help dig in deeper to two critical areas; mental health counselling and tutoring support.
Holiday Assistance: Adopt-A-Family “matches” donors with families and independent youth in need to help bring hope and joy home for the holidays.
