Support Sujata’s Journey and Help Us Advance Health Care in Tsum Valley
Sujata has worked at the Compassion Health Centre as an Auxiliary Nurse Midwife since 2019. The community in Tsum Valley has benefited greatly from her dedication, skill, and compassionate care. Now, it’s time for us to come together and support this strong young woman as she takes the next step in her education and career. Those steps will then lead her back to Tsum so that she can help the community at an even higher level.
Sujata has been accepted into a three-year Proficiency Certificate Level (PCL) Nursing program in Kathmandu. This program will build on her existing training as an Auxiliary Nurse Midwife and qualify her for expanded nursing responsibilities. This is a wonderful achievement and an important opportunity for her professional growth. She has committed to returning to the Compassion Health Centre for three years after completing her studies, bringing her new knowledge and skills back to the remote Tsum Valley community.
Your donation will be directly spent on:
- Tuition costs for the first, second, and third year of her program
- Uniforms
- Textbooks and school supplies
- Transportation to and from the institution (daily 2 hour bus ride)
Your support will:
- Contribute to Sujata’s education and continued growth as a health care professional
- Strengthen the quality of care available to patients in Tsum Valley
- Build local health care capacity by investing in someone who is committed to the community
- Contribute to The Compassion Project's goal of improving health care in this remote region of Nepal
By supporting Sujata today, you are not only helping one dedicated health care worker pursue her dreams, you are investing in the health and future of an entire region.
Thank you for helping Sujata take this important next step and for supporting better health care in Tsum Valley!
