About East End Children's Centre
Our families come from diverse language, cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. Single income parents, first-time mothers and fathers, custodial grandparents and their young children are some of the examples of the active participants in our programs. We serve many adoptive parents and increasing numbers of parents from the LGBTQ communities. We support families experiencing significant stress related to mental health or newcomer settlement issues, or developmental differences in children. Families attending our programs can also access the following supports: Resources in print and DVD format on topics of interest to parents and families. Our programs also serve as an entry point for children needing assessment services, such as speech & language, child development or behaviour.
