Edmonton Federation of Community Leagues 100th Anniversary Project Legacy Fund
The Edmonton Federation of Community Leagues (EFCL), which represents 161 Community leagues in Edmonton, will be 100 years old in 2021. To celebrate this milestone, the EFCL has worked with the City of Edmonton on a significant upgrade to Hawrelak Park; one that celebrates and recognizes the amazing contributions Community Leagues and their volunteers have made to the very fabric and quality of life in Edmonton while adding park features that everyone can enjoy. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity that supports a fundamental movement that has shaped our city for over 100 years now. To mark EFCL’s 100th anniversary, this project will tell the story of community building in our city and create an accessible, beautiful, centrally located outdoor space for all to enjoy in William Hawrelak Park which hosts nearly 1.5 million visits per year and will continue to do so for many years to come. Individuals, families, foundations and corporations who are considering making a gift to support the Edmonton Federation of Community League’s Capital Campaign are invited to take a recognition opportunity for you that is meaningful and reflects your history and role as a community builder in Edmonton.
