Please join us for the 8th Annual Run Walk Ride for Vision Zero.  Vision Zero, which originated in Sweden, is a local, national and international initiative to eliminate traffic fatalities and serious injuries on our roadways.  In 2015, Edmonton became the first major city in Canada to officially adopt Vision Zero.

Net proceeds from this event support the Memorial and Traffic Safety Fund. This fund commemorates the victims of traffic collisions and is used to fund scholarships for traffic safety research. The purpose of this event is to raise awareness of Vision Zero Edmonton and the importance of traffic safety in our community for everyone: pedestrians, cyclists, motorcyclists and drivers.

The event details are as follows:

When: Saturday June 8th, 2019.  Race starts at 10am!

Where: Concordia University of Edmonton, 7128 Ada Blvd

What: 2k walk, 5k run/walk, 10k run and 10k family fun cycle event

Who: This event is for all ages and abilities. You can walk, run, or bike. Dogs on a leash and strollers welcome!

Free giveaways for the first 250 participants.  Running Room gift cards for the top 3 finishers in the 5K run and 10K run and all race participants will receive a medal!

Join us for free coffee, juice and snacks before the race and a complimentary hot dog lunch afterwards.
