Mirella L. Sacco is a disability advocate, writer, blogger, and wannabe chef. She was born with Spina Bifida; during her lifetime, she has worn many hats. But she has learned more from working with politicians and in the non-profit sector. Mirella has a passion for working towards a more inclusive society for individuals with physical disabilities. Mirella runs a blog dedicated to guest bloggers telling their stories in their own words, a Facebook page dedicated to providing information on disability-related information, and inspiring stories about individuals with a wide range of disabilities. Mirella created the support fund because adults with physical disabilities often struggle to obtain what they need to live a healthy life and be active participants in the communities they reside.
