About Our Funds
FCSSBC Youth Education Bursary: To assist young people in and from care with the financial costs of tuition and books/supplies for post-secondary education in the Human Services field. This bursary is to a maximum of $2,000 per applicant per academic year (2 semesters) and students may apply each year.
FCSSBC Leadership 2020 Bursary: These funds will be used towards assisting registrants to off-set the costs of attending the L2020 programs.
FCSSBC Travel Bursary: To help our rural members attend general meeting - who would otherwise not be able to attend due to prohibitive costs of travel from their area.
FCSSBC Award for Excellence: To recognize exceptional contributions of an individual/team/organization in the field of child/family services, for outstanding qualities/devotion to the field over a long period; or for their significant/lasting contribution in short term project.
FCSSBC General: These funds will be used by FCSSBC for any projects/expenditures that are in accordance to the purpose of the Society, and with respect to the wishes of the donor.
