UPDATE:

FOLLOWERS MISSION hosted our annual "Banquet in the Park" Christmas Outreach on Tuesday Dec. 12th 2023, with hundreds served. We thank the Moss Park Arena for allowing us to use their front lawn!

Water baptism continues at CTF led by Young and the Followers team, there with three special participants in February! A wonderful morning with lunch at the Mission when they returned. Please pray for them all!

The Followers Mission began in 1992 when following a short term mission trip, the Lord opened the eyes of mission founder Youngwha Kang to the needs of the homeless, the lost and the poor in an area of the city known as "Crack Corner".

What initially started as a weekly outreach with a dozen donuts and a thermos of coffee, eventually became a daily outpouring of God's love for the less fortunate in downtown Toronto at Queen & Sherbourne. 

We are a small non-profit group of Toronto area Christians who have a desire to "follow" Jesus' steps by sharing His love with the needy.

Helpers work as 100% volunteers and are dedicated, many serving for 20 years or more. We thank God for each one of them!

Open every week, people can find some coffee or clothing, receive care and prayer support. Our resident volunteer Paul is often available to those who are in need, be it a kind word, a prayer or a pair of jeans, he makes everyone feel welcome. 

We also host events each week including serving a meal during an outreach on Tuesdays at 5:30pm where we often provide new clothes, give out Bibles and offer prayer. A healing service is held on Fridays at 7pm and a church service on Sunday mornings at 10:30am. Both Friday and Sunday services include live worship.

Most months we host special Saturday outreaches of love, gifts & blessing with one of our partnering churches or groups. 

The Holy Spirit brings in the people, they receive love, acceptance and over the year’s hundreds have found salvation in Jesus. We record each name and faithfully pray for them. 

The Followers Mission needs your help! We do not receive government funding or any agency support, we depend solely on the generosity of individuals and churches who have a heart for the poor.
