The Friends of the Killaloe & District Public Library is a non-profit, charitable organization dedicated to promoting the cause of the library. The Friends is a small group that assists the library in maintaining its high profile as a provider of educational, research and enjoyment material through fundraising efforts and advocacy.
The Friends group raises funds for special equipment and help facilitate new programs. We are a grass-roots association that works and cooperates with the KDPL Library Board and staff.
We help fund programs that might not be covered in the libraries operation budget and provide volunteer assistance at special program and community events.
You will see us at the KDPL Annual Plant Sale in May, and the KDPL Annual Used Book Sale in August.
