Founded in 1989, Friends of the Mississauga Library is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization, promoting literacy and extending the programs and services of the library system within the community. Books and other published materials are on sale at the Hazel McCallion Central and all 17 branches of the library. Special book sales are also held at the Hazel McCallion Central Library to sell books, DVDs, etc. These sales are posted on on Instagram.
