The Northwest Territories is rich in artistic talent and has many stories to share with the world through the visual arts. The NWT Art Centre Initiative was founded in March of 2022 to create a space to celebrate NWT art and to inspire future generations of artists.
Our aim is to build a non-commercial art gallery and visual-arts-focussed community centre in Yellowknife. We look forward to working with northern artists, leaders, communities, and supporters to build a space to share NWT art with the world.
