Mission Statement of Fundy Region Transition House, Inc. (FRTH)

FRTH offers safe shelter, compassionate support and advocacy to victims of abuse and family violence. FRTH commits to the highest standard of client care, strong partnerships & public education within our community and a determination to end the cycle of family violence.

Our Program for victims of intimate partner and family violence/abuse

Fundy Transition House is a safe place for women and women with children offering a 24 hour/7 days-a-week service. Our Crisis Interveners are sensitive to a woman's needs and offer a variety of skills and experience to help women and their families during stressful situations. Our staff can help women access the supports and services they need to move forward. 

The children's support worker provides a supportive and safe atmosphere for children. The indoor/outdoor environment has been certified for the safety of children. We provide support to mothers and their children with links to existing social, recreational, educational and health services.

Outreach services are available to women who choose to access services outside of the shelter. 

FRTH opened in June 2019 Carol-Ann's House, Second Stage Housing for women and families. We are pleased to offer this service to women and children who are victims of relationship violence and abuse.
