Initiative by the Ladies Auxiliary of the Greek Community of Toronto
A helping hand to those in need
The Ladies Auxiliary "Pronia" is an all-female team of volunteers, initiated by the Greek Community of Toronto. Since its inception in 2015, the Ladies Auxiliary has been extremely active in helping people in need through its various activities, one of which is St. John's Food Bank.
The St. John's Food Bank initiative has been assisting unemployed individuals, pensioners, low income families, people with disabilities and newcomers by distributing non-perishable food items, toiletries and food vouchers to numerous families each year.
In order to accomplish this, we rely on the generosity of individuals, families, schools, community groups and businesses to raise funds and donate goods.
We are extremely grateful for the generosity of donors and volunteers and kindly ask to help us continue this initiative.
