The Greenwood Heritage Society is comprised of a Museum, Archives & Visitor Centre. The purpose of the Greenwood Museum & Archives is to collect, preserve and exhibit artifacts of historical, educational and cultural value associated with the City of Greenwood and surrounding area. Included are the areas of Eholt, Phoenix, Beaverdell-Carmi, Westbridge, Christian Valley, Rock Creek & Bridesville (known as the West Boundary). The museum acquires artifacts and archival materials by transfer, gift, bequest, exchange or any other transaction by which title to the material passes to the society with the understanding that ownership is held in trust for future generations.
The Visitor Centre welcomes visitors to the City of Greenwood and offers a variety of local, regional and provincial publications free of charge. Our friendly visitor counsellors assist visitors with their travel plans. A stop in Canada' Smallest City is a must!
