As the holy month of Ramadan unfolds—a time of reflection, generosity, and community—we invite you to join the Hadhramout Foundation in a mission that goes far beyond a single donation.
Why education? When we fund tuition for a student from Yemen, we’re not just paying school fees—we’re investing in a future teacher, a health‑care worker, an entrepreneur, a leader who will lift entire families out of poverty. In other words, “Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.”
Our goal: Raise $50,000 by the end of Ramadan to cover tuition costs for current and future students at universities throughout Canada. As always, we do not use any of your donations to cover administration or marketing costs. Every dollar we receive we will use to directly help a student.
Your generosity today plants the seed; education waters it; success harvests the fruit. Together, let’s turn Ramadan’s spirit of giving into a lasting legacy of learning. Speaking of legacies, should you decide to fully fund a student’s education we will gladly name the scholarship in your honor (or a name of your choosing).
All charitable contributions made to the Hadhramout Foundation are generally tax‑deductible under applicable Canadian tax laws. However, tax codes vary by individual so we strongly recommend you consult your personal tax advisor to confirm how the donation fits into your individual filing situation.
Thank you for believing in the power of knowledge. May your kindness be returned to you tenfold.
