The Happy Herd rescues and gives a forever home to abandoned and abused farmed animals. We are a registered charity and volunteer run.
The Happy Herd is a sanctuary for farm animals who have been abused, neglected, or abandoned. Many arrive through cruelty cases, carrying the scars of the worst of human nature.
On four peaceful acres in Langley, B.C. we provide safety, care, and compassion to the animals we rescue. These include goats, cows, pigs, chickens, turkeys, and even a few cats and a dog. Here every resident is given a forever home where they are treated with the kindness and respect they deserve.
