Help refugees displaced by conflict, violence and persecution reunite with family in Canada by supporting the Immigrant Services Society of BC Private Sponsorship Program.

Canada's Private Sponsorship of Refugees Program helps thousands of vulnerable children, youth, and families every year. ISSofBC sponsors refugees from abroad who come to Canada for family reunification. As a sponsor, we provide financial and emotional support including help with housing, clothing, and food for one year.

Since our first donation in 2016, we have reunited 41 individuals from across the world with their families in Canada. Over 52 are scheduled to arrive in 2023 from 2022.

Through your generous donations, you can help those most in need who have no prospect of returning home, start new lives in Canada.

Your donation directly supports sponsorship such as start-up costs, food, clothing, and housing which averages over $20,000 per individual for the one-year duration.
